By default, all web browsers apply newly released updates automatically. The updates are released to improve the stability and the security of the web browser, as well as its speed.
However, sometimes the web browsers don't apply the recently released updates, and as a result, you are more vulnerable to online threats.
The aim of the solutions to this problem is to show you how to check for, and update the web browsers manually.

Chrome will then check for updates automatically and install them. Once done it will tell you to re-start your browser.

By default, all browsers notify you when there is an update available and some of them even update themselves automatically.
If you receive a notification that an update is available, click the Update now (or a similar phrase) button and your browser will be updated to the latest version.
